F A M I L I A. Gli album fotografici ritrovati
fotografie e filmini di famiglia nella Regione Lazio

Ricostruire la storia della famiglia e del territorio della regione attraverso le immagini autoprodotte dai suoi abitanti: fotografie e filmini familiari e amatoriali. Questo l’obiettivo del progetto triennale Famiglie Laziali 2006-2008 – promosso dalla Presidenza della Regione Lazio e curato dalla Fondazione Archivio Audiovisivo del Movimento Operaio e Democratico e dall’Istituto per la storia del Risorgimento italiano (cfr. http://www.aamod.it/famiglielaziali) - che vede il suo naturale compimento in una grande esposizione dal titolo FAMILIA. La mostra di Roma - a cura di Gabriele D’Autilia, Laura Cusano e Manuela Pacella – conclude un ciclo di eventi espositivi che si sono tenuti, tra novembre e dicembre 2008, nelle province di Frosinone, Latina, Rieti e Viterbo. La mostra del Vittoriano, contemporanea a quella del 10b Photography, propone un’accurata selezione delle fotografie raccolte negli ultimi due anni e un montaggio dei filmini familiari e delle videointerviste realizzate presso le scuole aderenti al progetto (a cura di Serena Barela e Fabrizio Moggia, Aamod).

Under the High Patronage of the President of the Italian Republic

Reconstruct the history of the family and the territory of the region through images self-produced by its inhabitants: family and amateur photographs and videos. This is the objective of the three-year Latium Family Project 2006-2008 - promoted by the Presidency of the Lazio Region and curated by the Audiovisual Archive Foundation of the Workers and Democrats Movement and by the Institute for the History of the Italian Risorgimento (see http: // www.aamod .it / famiglielaziali) - which sees its natural fulfillment in a great exhibition entitled FAMILIA. The Rome exhibition - curated by Gabriele D’Autilia, Laura Cusano and Manuela Pacella - concludes a series of exhibition events held between November and December 2008 in the provinces of Frosinone, Latina, Rieti and Viterbo. The Vittoriano exhibition, contemporary to that one of 10b Photography, offers a careful selection of photographs collected in the last two years and a montage of family movies and video interviews carried out at the schools participating in the project (curated by Serena Barela and Fabrizio Moggia, Aamod)…..
