Solutions by NOOR rappresenta la seconda parte del progetto collettivo dedicato al clima, pensato e realizzato dai fotoreporter di NOOR, agenzia e fondazione con sede ad Amsterdam e New York. Dopo aver analizzato con Consequences by NOOR gli effetti dei cambiamenti climatici sul nostro pianeta, i fotografi di NOOR documentano che cosa sia possibile fare per contenere l’aumento delle temperature globali e limitarne gli effetti.

I progetti in mostra raccontano storie di uomini che, utilizzando risorse alternative ed energie rinnovabili, tra innovazioni tecnologiche e consapevoli scelte di sostenibilità, tentano di mitigare l’innalzamento delle temperature, o semplicemente di far fronte al cambiamento. Attraverso l’indagine di nove diverse esperienze in altrettanti paesi del mondo, la mostra offre un’occasione per conoscere come il mondo sta già reagendo alla crisi climatica per invertirne il corso. In occasione dell’inaugurazione, Daniele Protti, direttore editoriale de L’Europeo, presenterà il numero del mensile dedicato al progetto. Saranno inoltre presenti Claudia Hinterseer (managing director e fondatrice di NOOR), Francesco Zizola (curatore della mostra e membro fondatore di NOOR), Pep Bonet (membro fondatore di NOOR) e Giancarlo Ceraudo (nuovo membro di NOOR).

NOOR è un’agenzia fotografica e una fondazione con sede ad Amsterdam e New York. Solutions by NOOR represents the second part of the collective project dedicated to the climate, designed and created by the NOOR photojournalists, an agency and foundation based in Amsterdam and New York. After analysing the climate change effects on our planet with Consequences by NOOR, NOOR photographers document what can be done to contain the global temperatures increment and limit their effects.

The projects on display, alternative energies, renewable energies, technological innovations and sustainability choices, try to mitigate the rise in temperatures, or simply to cope with change. Through the investigation of nine different experiences in different countries of the world, the exhibition offers an opportunity to learn about the world is already reacting to the climate crisis to reverse its course. On the occasion of the inauguration, Daniele Protti, editorial director of L'Europeo, will present the monthly issue dedicated to the project. Also present will be Claudia Hinterseer (director and founder of NOOR), Francesco Zizola (curator of the exhibition and founder of NOOR), Pep Bonet (founding member of NOOR) and Giancarlo Ceraudo (new member of NOOR).
